Justin Bomberg
Executive Producer

Beginning by literally sweeping the floor at a local ABC affiliate, Justin quickly worked his way up the ranks, and within a few years of learning how to turn on a broadcast camera, began winning national awards for journalism. After founding Story Me This in 1999, he has since produced wide-ranging content for clients as diverse as The Rolling Stones and Mothering Magazine, or as we like to say – From Mick to Mothering.

SUCCESS STORIES

Uw-madison

Challenge:

Find new revenue-generating projects for UW-Madison’s Communications Department.

Solution:

Contracted with the university’s Museum of Art to document a new art installation from its creation in Paris, France, to the transportation and permanent installation, and then the public unveiling of the finished piece.

Result:

Largest budget for a one-off project contract in department history. Wide variety of different videos promoting the project over the year process. Successfully pitched to Wisconsin Public Television as a half-hour show, and re-edited all the footage to WPT’s specifications where it aired many times as a prime-time program.

Rogers bh

Challenge:

Top-to-bottom creative rebranding of the 110-year old nonprofit success, Rogers Behavioral Health, a leader in its field.

Solution:

Integral member of the marketing team working on a new logo and overall branding, advertising strategies. Conceived and designed extensive video content to launch the new brand for national broadcast and digital outlets.

Result:

In following two years, the patients-served metric has frequently been setting new records, YouTube subscriber total has gone up 1000% and climbing and similarly with other online platforms and fundraising efforts have been shattering goals.

rolling stones

Challenge:

Produce backstage and onstage content for an entire Rolling Stones “40 Licks” 2002- 2003 World Tour.

Solution:

Produced extensive documentary footage for the official tour DVD, live broadcasts on HBO and BBC, a theatrical documentary, live camerawork onstage for all 110 shows. Also pre-produced video content that played for songs.

Result:

Online video was still relatively new and we were all experimenting together on what to do in this new space, yet our content helped drive the website traffic far beyond expectations. The live show on HBO had 20 million viewers. The tour was the Stones highest-grossing up to that point.
